Coach Michael A. Bowie
Elite Basketball Coach
I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. I played HS Basketball at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, College Basketball at Boston College, Professionally in Buenos Aires, Argentina and various European Countries, including Italy.
I have played, coached/mentored and scouted many levels of Basketball Players over the past several decades.
My resume/cv is compact and comprehensive in both education and the team sport of fundamental basketball. I have played and mastered all positions. I am extremely competitive and passionate about mentoring student-athletes at ALL levels. The goal is to bring out the best within themselves as student-athletes, just as my many mentors have done for me both on and off the court.
Mentoring and coaching student-athletes takes a desire and teaching-style beyond the surface of the immediate situation. It takes knowing the learning-style of each student-athlete both separately and within the team concept.. The fundamental team concept is the collective instincts of successfully reacting to various situations during the game.
With this backdrop, I reenforce the principles taught by their parents, the importance of good study habits, family values within their respective communities and good sportsmanship. The reenforcement is with a positive “Never Give Up” attitude. These principles are not separate from their chosen sport, but rather a reflection of their own developing character and integrity
It is an honor to be part of the BloomSports Team.
Experienced basketball coach( MVP)
I’ve started playing basketball in third grade and haven’t stopped since. I played at Mt. Eden high school in Hayward. From there I played at Mendocino College in Ukiah California for two years. I finished up my college career at Cal State East Bay. Through my basketball career I have learned a lot through lessons and experience that equip me with the knowledge to pass along to fellow players. Dedication, perseverance and patience are valuable as a basketball player and are needed for anyone who wishes for a long career.

My name is Treyvonna Brooks, I have been playing basketball since I was in the third grade. I fell in love with the game of basketball and it has taken me very far. I played on AAU teams until I graduated from high school. I went to Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon and played all four years on the Varsity Team. You can see multiple banners, trophies and plaques from when I was on the team. I went on to play on at a Junior College in Florida called Chipola College, in the Panhandle Conference. There I also obtained my AS degree. One of the top conferences for Junior College Basketball. I played two years there and went to the National tournament where there were hundreds of division one recruiters there. I then came in Eighth my freshman year and then third my sophomore year. After two years at the Junior College I then transferred to a Division one and played basketball at Tennessee Technological University, where I lead the conference in double doubles, and made it to the conference tournament my senior year. I obtained my bachelor's degree and obtain a Master's Degree at Tennessee Technological University. I then went on to play professsionally overseas. I have played in Germany and Portugal. And I do plan on continuing my professional career. I have coached for many years at camps and other AAU teams. As well as 1-on-1 sessions. I love the game of basketball and plan on spreading my expereince and love for the game through coaching.
I have played basketball at the Division 1 college level at the university of Tennessee Chattanooga for 4 years. I have 3 years of AAU and high school coaching experience. I love being able to pass on my knowledge to the next generation. I’ve been around some of the best players in the game today. Playing with and against guys like Austin Rivers, Anthony Davis, and Zach Lavine. I also got to pick the brain of Hall of Fame coach Doc Rivers on multiple occasions. I have coached years of team camps and love player development at the team and individual level and offer 1-on-1 training sessions as well
